Privacy notice v2

MCAC Members Portal Privacy Notice Effective: 7 August 2026

MCAC processes the account information you provide, including your name, email address, LinkedIn sign-in identity, profile details, application responses, consent choices, and activity within this private members portal. This information is used to authenticate you, review and administer membership applications, operate the member network, support collaboration between approved members, maintain security and audit records, and send service or activity notifications.

Contact and professional details are shared with approved members only according to the visibility choices you select. Information marked hidden is not shown to other members. Information marked admin-only remains available to authorised MCAC administrators for membership administration. Accepting this notice does not by itself make your contact details visible to members.

MCAC uses service providers needed to operate the portal, including hosting, database and file storage, authentication, and email-delivery providers. Access is restricted according to portal roles. MCAC does not make pending, rejected, or suspended applicants’ profiles available in the approved-member directory.

You may update your profile and visibility choices in the portal. To request correction or deletion of your information, withdraw consent, or ask a privacy question, contact the MCAC office or an authorised portal superadministrator. Some records may be retained where reasonably required for security, audit, dispute handling, or legal obligations.

MCAC may publish a new version of this notice when its data practices change. Where renewed acceptance is required, the portal will present the new version before membership approval or continued use of affected features.
